3 Days Uganda Gorilla Safari
This 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Safari will take you for Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. More famously, this “impenetrable forest ‘’also protects an estimated number of 400 mountain gorillas –roughly half of the world’s population including several habituated groups that can be tracked. This biologically diverse region also provides shelter to a further 120 mammals, including several primate species such as baboons and chimpanzees, as well as elephants and antelopes. There are 350 species of birds hosted in this forest, including 23 Albertine Rift endemics.

DAY 1: TRAVEL TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
You will be picked by one of our respective/guide from Ssemambo Alex Tours & Travel after an early morning breakfast and embark on your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will be quickly briefed about the entire safari to the park located in the southwestern Uganda. We shall have a visit to the Royal drum making village to meet and interact with the drum makers. Then a stopover at the Equator line for photography and refreshments. We shall thereafter head to mbarara town for lunch and later proceed to Bwindi and we will reach late in the afternoon. Check in at the lodge, relax and after dinner shall be served.
Nkuringo Gorilla Camp (Mid-range)
DAY 2: GORILLA TREKKING
Early breakfast in the morning, after drive to the park headquarters for briefing by the Park rangers about the do’s and don’ts in the park, also will be divided into groups of 8 individuals. After this continue and start off the trekking the one of the most endangered animal species as guided by the rangers. You will spend about 1 hour with them, taking photos, watching them feed, play around and also do their day to day activities. But depending on the location and the movement of the gorillas, this activity may take about 2 hours or even 8 hours, also expect to walk longer distances with walking sticks due to the muddy and steep landscape.
Later, return to the lodge for lunch and a power nap and in the evening you may decide to visit the Batwa Community (native culture in the forest) where you will get exposed to their culture & norms; dance, lifestyle, storytelling and more which is very amazing and unique. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: TRAVEL BACK TO KAMPALA
Have an early breakfast, check-out of the lodge and embark on our journey back to Kampala. Lunch shall be in Mbarara town. A stop over at Igongo cultural center to visit the historical eclipse monument, continue to Kampala and you will be dropped off to your hotel to catch your flight back home.

GORILLA PERMIT COSTS
Gorilla trekking permit costs 700USD and you get to spend only one hour with the mountain gorillas while Gorilla Habituation costs 1500USD allowing you to spend four hours with the mountain gorillas. Gorilla trekking permits should be paid in advance through Uganda Wildlife Authority Offices or through our Company.

- Good physical, fit health and mental condition.
- Uganda Visa which can be got on arrival at the Airport.
- Travelers must be at least 15 years old on the day the trekking.
- Travel & Health insurance arranged from your home Country.
